Description
Sidewalk in front of Board of Water and Light Cedar St location has not been cleared. The sidewalk has a couple of inches of wet snow, which made it very difficult to pass. Would have been impossible for wheelchair users. Even worse, the plows that cleared their driveway and adjacent Jay St by the Nuthouse, piled the snow many feet high directly over the curb cut and sidewalk forcing people to endanger themselves by climbing over/around a mountain of snow or by walking in Cedar St. This is a very clear violation of the City's snow/ice removal ordinance.

On N. Chestnut Street in the 300 block the sidewalk between two driveways is behind the parking of Ferris Park Towers, which is on Chestnut street. They and the apartment building at 320 n. Chestnut clear their driveways and pile up the snow on the sidewalk. No one ever clears the property behind the Ferris Park towers property on Chestnut because (I suppose) it seems to be a no-man's land. But it's not hard to see that it belongs to the parking lot owner, albeit that the parking lot starts on Walnut.
This area (310-320) N. Chestnut is now the only part of N. Chestnut near the Capitol Complex where the sidewalk is not cleared. Many state employees walk from state buildings to their parking on these blocks.
