These blocks are outliving their usefulness. Everywhere! They are dangerous because they are not level and getting worse. Try walking from Beach Drive to 4th street on the sidewalk! When the injury law suites start coming in, trust me the cost to repair them now will be the cheaper alternative

I forgot to mention that a few spots have been painted or blocked by "road blocks" but trust me, the worst have yet to be marked. I have been tripped but not hurt so far. If I do get hurt on a spot I haven't made a note of, who do I call. Morgan & Morgan comes to mind! I don't want the City to lose my tax dollars due to legitimate legal law litigation! Please take this seriously and consider repaving the sidewalks.

Bob Davie, OSE is a designated hex block preservation neighborhood. The City repairs the sidewalks free of charge to the homeowner when something is amiss. So while enjoying your next walk, be a good neighbor and write down the addresses with sidewalks that inhibit your passage. Then call the city. Problem solved. No litigation needed.

Thank you for bringing this issue to the attention of the SPTO Department. We appreciate your help with maintaining our City sidewalks. Due to the Covid 19 outbreak and funding issues, sidewalk slab replacements are addressed within 9-12 months of being reported. We are working diligently to narrow this timeline and appreciate your patience while we address these locations during these unusual times.
