Description

There is so much that needs attention at the entrance of Macons Historic Rose Hill cemetary and adjoining Whittle Park. All the flowers and plants at the entrance building have been dead for months. There isn't any pruning done here. The roses that border the driveways are dead and have been since summer, along with the ones in Whittle park. The pinestraw around the trees and plants is old and broken to pieces. The "roses for public enjoyment" sign is leaning forward. There are many more areas here that need attention. This is an embarrassment for Macon since it is a very popular tourist attraction and resting place. I have many more pictures, this site only allows 5 pics. Simri Rose would be appalled at the shape of this beautiful cemetary.
