I hate to report things like this, as things are tough for a lot of people, but ever since the city shut down the tent city at Grace, and removed the benches from Haysley Lynch, more homeless are camping at Depot.

The issue reported has been acknowledged by the Gainesville Police Department and this service request is now closed.
At this time I have been unable to make contact with any of the occupants. I have observed 1 camp site on city property. The property is not currently posted properly and there are on-going discussions within city management as to how to proceed with trespassers in parks. As these discussions bring about a resolution to the problem, we will readdress and hopefully permanently resolve these types of issues.
