Description
I frequently pass by the sidewalk on Main Street (specifically the one at Whole Foods), and I always encounter garbage throughout the whole strip. They’re usually big, food related items.
It would be appreciated if a garbage can could be placed on this sidewalk in hopes of reducing/completely eliminating the trash that’s being left behind.

Thanks for taking the time to report your issue. The Madison Health Department has met with the commercial tenant (Whole Foods) and reminded them of their obligation to keep their property free of trash and litter.
They have agreed to step up policing of the front area/sidewalk along Main Street. They also note that they have noticed it is more of a problem on windy days when trash blows in from other properties.
