The large tree is slowly tipping over a little more all the time due to damage from the ice storm.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, City of Lansing has no jurisdiction over private property trees. You may want to contact your insurance agency if the tree poses a danger to your property.

PSDOM, glad you put the info about private prop. trees out there for all to see. The first few years I lived in my home there were 2 neighbors who pestered me repeatedly to cut down a willow tree in MY fenced backyard. (Neither were adjacent property owners but from 2-3 homes away) I questioned them as to THEIR need for the tree removal as I liked it. It is pretty and the only tree in the yard (shade) The response each gave was the previous property owner had stated a dislike of it! I'm no longer pestered to cut the tree as 1 neighbor moved and the other passed away.
