So... you're saying, line up the cars on the right side of Willson facing Jefferson, and dart across 2 lanes when it's your turn? What about the cars coming from Highland, do they have to go down and do a U-turn to get in line?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you've never done any traffic planning in your life, whatsoever.

They closed the High school entrance and sent cars down to the next entrance ( just before the High school exit road). I believe the above mention idea is to make the bike lane available from the second entrance back toward Highland when that is backed up. No traffic planning is needed to see this as a good idea. Just get rid of the unused bike lanes.

All of you anti bike lane warriors will try ANY angle to get them removed. It's comical. First danger of cars too close to center, then it was no room for emergency vehicles, now the Covid line that maybe happened 1 or 2 days. What's next??? Hmmm....sounds like those bike barriers were a silly idea. Looks like Salem listened and removed them and things are much better now...for cars. They’re also particularly silly in winter as they’re just going to be destroyed by plows.
