There have parking violations in all three parking lots around Danehy Park for years, despite numerous reports through this site and directly. The city has been negligent in enforcing. Before closing for construction, the parking lot on Field Street would have >40 cars without Cambridge parking permits parking overnight in that lot. In the New Street lot, construction workers from the new apartment buildings fill a large part of the lot every day in violation of posted limitations. What is most ironic is that during various times of the day and night, police cars will be parked there for extended periods and not enforce the posted restrictions.

Hi, as cambridge west said there are generally up to four parking lots available around this park and quite a bit of street parking too. Longer term parking may be overflow from adjacent large housing developments and it's not likely that enforcement resources will be focused there anytime soon.

The same thing is happening at the parking lot at Comeau Field. Cars are parked overnight every night. The City took the time to have the violation signs made and posted - why are they not enforcing the rules?

Residents and taxpayers expect a more professional response to a legitimate report that city regulations are being regularly violated and not being enforced.

This issue was opened on November 30 it’s been 36 days has anyone looked into this car as possibly abandoned? There is never any parking available in the morning.
