Description
Heading southbound on Battery, the pedestrian crossing on Park Street (between Battery Park + Monroe St) seems dangerous... the traffic coming from North Ave has an especially hard time seeing pedestrians, especially as they zip over into the far left lane (often to pass the stopped traffic ahead, as they are unaware that a pedestrian is crossing) ...pedestrians often have to stop in the middle of the road to check if the car in that middle lane will stop, and the oncoming car typically slams on brakes. Perhaps a blinking light for pedestrian crossing might help here? Thank you for the consideration.
