This issue is not closed. The sidewalk was not poured correctly and poses a trip hazard due to all the rocks being on top of the concrete and the rocks are brittle and creating holes. Look at the rest of this neighborhood and find a sidewalk that looks like this. I PAY THE SAME TAXES AS EVERYONE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND EXPECT TO HAVE THE SAME SIDEWALKS AS EVERYONE ELSE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND IS NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND DONE RIGHT. Public works has come out here twice and marked the ledges but has done nothing to rectify the problem. This sidewalk cost me $800 a year to keep clear of mildew or the HOA comes after me. AND when it is pressure washed rocks are flying everywhere. It mildews 3 times as fast due to being so porous because it was NOT floated properly and poor workmanship. I have never poured concrete in my life and could have done a better job. I will be contacting Commissioner Welch and Commissioner Seel.
