transport ambulances are often idling in the street by this nursing home between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM. I have timed them and sometimes they sit for more than an hour - anytime of the year. I have called the ambulance company and contacted the nursing home. School children (there are three schools within a few blocks of this street) walk right through the exhaust every day.

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please report it to the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.

All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
