They would never be granted a permit for this type of obstruction. LCI called the Building Department and the do not have a permit according to staff.

For the record Tracy from LCI sent me your email about this issue. Please feel free to shoot her another email if there are any issues aside from this. I will work with her to resolve these quality of life issues.

The District has reached out to Keys to the City and spoken to the manager. This was a one time event and they are now aware of the New Haven handicap accessibility standards and have said they will abide by these standards moving forward. Please let us know if this happens again and I'll speak with the owner of Keys to the City.
