Description
The subdivision has only one entrance to many, many houses and streets. Problem is that the streets beyond the first couple that branch off are not maintained by anyone. They were not petitioned by the developer to be included in State maintenance, but as the development grew, additional roads were put in and paved by the developer but not properly accounted for in regards to future maintenance. I was told they only maintain the main road in. I am SURE other homeowners in this large subdivision are not aware of this. Our potholes on our street are so bad you can see dirt in at least one foot sections or more! The rest of the road has drainage issues and is cracking. I was told that we would have to clear all the right of ways AND fix any drainage issues before it would even be considered for addition to state maintenance (including a bunch of signatures and paperwork). Sounds like something that should have been disclosed to homeowners long ago! Seems we are left with HUGE deterioration issues and were not even aware! They have made it difficult to even attempt to get added as a state road to maintenance. We need help!
