  There has always been speeding cars on pine st but the only place i ever see cops park is at champlain school. The alternative is putting down speed bumps which might work. The cops dont seem to care about anything!

  Thank you for inquiring about traffic calming. We just updated the traffic calming program last year and are working to get caught up using our new system.

  We have requested traffic and crash data to help us determine the best options moving forward on Pine Street. For an overview of the process, please visit https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/dpw/TrafficCalming

  We'll follow up with more information once we've completed our review of traffic and crash data, which should occur during this coming winter. The traffic calming program is very popular and there is a queue of streets ahead of this request, but we will use the winter months to develop any improvement plans for the coming year.

We're excited to let you know that we are now implementing a comprehensive asset management program which is a mostly "behind the scenes" effort. This will enable more efficient, more effective and more fiscally sound infrastructure management. Nothing changes for you and we'll continue to use SeeClickFix, but we have had to automate a process to connect our open SCF requests with our asset management program. There may be the occasional bug to work out, but rest assured that your issue is still in queue and assigned to the right City staffer. Once this initial round of automation is through in about a week, we'll revert back to our standard messages on SeeClickFix.

  Why did you take almost a year to reply DPW planning and why will it take so long to complete your dumb traffic study???
