Let's see if my voting for the mayor was a good thing and get this issue resolved ASAP before someone gets hurt and sues the city.

The east City Limit of Brookhaven is the West Right-of-Way of Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. Chamblee Dunwoody Rd itself is NOT in the City of Brookhaven, but in the City of Chamblee. We will forward this issue on to the City of Chamblee for them to address.

Related to this issue, the overall road condition is deteriorating. Are there any plans on the books to resurface this section of road.

Perhaps this is the right question: is Chamblee Dunwoody Rd the responsibility of Brookhaven or Chamblee? Who has the responsibility for upkeep of this heavily used road?

I have investigated the road responsibility issue and here it is. Chamblee Dunwoody is on the border line between Brookhaven and Chamblee. Both cities look to Dekalb County to do their road maintenance. I filed a form with Dekalb County concern the huge pot hole going south just before D'Youville Trace and across from the United Methodist Church. I have heard nothing.

This still is in the city limits of Brookhaven either way, I believe the city can close this again.
