Description

This is the current disgusting porta-potty situation at Cottage Lake Park: a trek through ankle deep muck mud leading to the small mini Cottage Lake next to it in the grass that I thoroughly enjoyed frantically trying to maneuver my two young boys through, which I could only carry one through or have risked my 20 month old enjoying touching all the OTHER disgusting germs that still exist other than covid which surely live in that porta potty. I really do not understand how this is a more sanitary/safe “covid precaution” than just maintaining the restrooms open. I have seen plenty of other parks with their bathrooms functioning, some of which I have seen signs indicating one person at a time when multiple stalls exist. To have to juggle young kids in a porta potty is awful...to have to trek through a mud pit with them is just insulting.
