agreed. Warren is used as detour around lights on parallel streets, and speeding and failure to obey signs is commonplace. There needs to be rotating active surveillance—police cadets or cameras—on ped crossings in the Grove/Harborside area. Death trap of a corner from cars double parked to no stop sign at all. I myself have almost gotten hit 4 times in the last month exiting the Lively after looking both ways

A preliminary traffic assessment was conducted based on Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines as outlined in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The assessment included a review of the intersection’s crash history. Based on JCPD crash reports, this intersection does not meet the minimum FHWA threshold for major crashes to warrant a change in traffic control. Therefore, we do not recommend the installation of a new stop sign at this location at this time.

As usual, it will take a pedestrian getting killed by a vehicle before Jersey City takes action.

Does the population that lives within XXX feet of an intersection factor/warrant a change in traffic control?

Just because people have survival skills and managed to not be hit by cars failing to yield to pedestrians doesn't mean less people have to cross the street safely.

Intersection needs daylighting barriers. Lively management needs to own up. Its cars dropping off passengers to their own building.

Still nothing has been done here. This baffles all of us. The amount of cars double parked and no parking enforcement once again to ticket creates even more problems for pedestrians to safely cross.

Going to take an R.I.P. for them to do something as per the usual.
