Malden, MA assigned this issue to Parking Department Malden

Our staff is out across the city enforcing winter parking. Currently, with no snow on the ground, we are issuing a lot of warnings as a reminder. We did just that on Judson Street the night before this post, and so far this winter have cited 25 vehicles on Judson alone. Of course vehicles come and go all day, and enforcement isn't intended to catch every violator. With about 700 streets across the city, we'll continue that effort to educate so the next storm finds residents more prepared. The first storm was expected to be a challenge with compliance and it met that expectation, and while we towed almost 200 vehicles and ticketed hundreds upon hundreds others, we recognize that it still left violators unchecked and plows challenged.
