Thank you for reporting the issue to the City of Bridgeport. This is not a zoning issue. The information was forwarded to the Public Facilities Department and a response was received that the United Illuminating (UI) Company has the right-of-way to erect a light pole that is necessary onto the sidewalk. However, if sidewalk is damaged during the process, they are responsible for fixing the damage(s).

At my old property they cracked the foundation of my house and I was responsible. I asked can they move it over a little thats all
