Pedestrians and motorists are all required to follow the traffic guidance. Flashing yellow lights already indicate that caution should be taken while crossing at any intersection or crosswalk.

No different than any other intersection. Push the button to cross if there is one. Pay attention to the “walk” “wait” signs and by all means pay attention. You might have the “right-a-way” but they have the truck or car. Way to many people driving and looking at their phones. That also applies to pedestrians as well.
