it iis just disgusting on what they did to these folks on that road, grow up all of you and fix the problems. these are american families that deserve the respect.

Your being provided with an opportunity to fix this problem before it ends in litigation and costing a lot more money. This is a great opportunity to fix this problem using your in store products as well as showing off how well your retaining wall stone works. Lastly I believe this probably could be used as a tax write off if they advertise correctly.

I would love for the wall to be be fixed! I don't see why it hasn't been done already. I guess I have to bring it to my fb family and see what they think about it. Smh

Did Lowe's move close enough to this house in Prescott or what? Big Box stores should "BY LAW" have to stay a certain distance away from residential areas,PERIOD. No Homeowner should ever have to be exposed to what this man had to deal with.....

Re: being too close - The K-mart was there for decades before those houses were built a few years ago up on the hill.

Why are we sure it isn't improper work by the developer of the houses causing the damage to their wall? Is there an engineering report?

Lowe's is not the owner of the property or the wall. The entire shopping center was sold about a year ago. You're chasing the wrong party. Lowe's just leases the building.

Has anyone talked with the store manager? Have you discussed it with your homeowner insurance company?

K mart was here, this is true. BUT, Kmart NEVER altered the grading of the land to place their store as close as possible to the adjacent land as with what lowe's did. Take a ride behind Lowe's store to see what I mean. The "wall" (that is on Lowe's property) was built and that area originally was a natural graded slope of wooded land. Unfortunately, the land was cleared out and the earth was pushed back and the wall was created. Also, deer and other animals were displaced just to give Lowe's some extra unnecessary room they claimed they needed. In my opinion, I believe there should of been a buffer in place by the original builder so that commercial property could never move that close to residential. Anyways, the minutes of all the Planning and Zoning and Wetlands Commitee's are on Derby's website if you want more details so you can understand what really took place. Trust me, Kmart was never that close... Sorry I can't answer your question to who is to blame but you can form your own opinion after reading the minutes etc...
