Unfortunately I am not the owner lol, I’m a neighbor that loves taking my dog here.
Sign permits are required for businesses that want to use their name on the banner. This banner doesn’t, or else it would be “attention seeking”. 🤷🏻♂️

Very entertaining reading all the comments here. Now for a little "Adult Supervision".
"A temporary banner 40 s.f. or less displayed for 7 consecutive days in any 30 day period."
that is exempt. Looks like it is less than 40 s.f. but has it been more than 7 Consecutive days in any 30 day period?
One week on, then one week off. Have to take a picture every day for 7 straight days, then report it to the city. If you want to "waste" your time counting every single day that the sign is out there then fine. But going back and forth with patrons of the business, on this website is pointless. I do not have a dog, and thus do not need their services. But if a business is legitimate and does not cause noise to the neighborhood, then I generally do not care. If there are a bunch of drug dealers using the place to launder money, then there are other places to report that. But that is not occurring as far as I can tell. It seems perfectly legitimate.
All what the detractors are doing is giving the place some "free" advertising. All on the Houston 311 app.
If you have a problem with anyone making some money doing some legitimate work.....you need your head examined. The amount and type of stuff reported for the Montrose neighborhood is too much. I live 2 blocks from this business and basically find this issue to be a waste of time. Especially since the business is on Montrose Blvd, a major street where businesses are supposed to be located.

The owner bends over backwards for their customers and has built a great business that is the cleanest operation and a great addition to our neighborhood. The owner has been harassed by 3 same neighbors for 3 months straight. To the Electropoe person that called the owner arrogant, be careful what other neighbors you associate with. Might want to know what they have really done to the owner of the business. Why don’t you go introduce yourself to the owner of the business and have a civil conversations first before name calling someone you don’t even know. Maybe you are one the same “3 neighbors” that are constantly harassing. 🤔
The owner is and has always complied with city regulations. He’s been in business for over 4 years. Never once been given any citations like these neighbors have tried to force on him. It’s so pathetic.

@MiloSF2Houston,
I am not one of the 3 neighbors complaining. I live on W Gray and Hazel. I do not have a dog. Do pass by the place going home. I take Peden Street off Montrose and drive down to Hazel when I go home.
The business is on the corner of Peden and Montrose. Legitimate business, doing the community a favor. People have dogs and need to go out of town on business and need someone to take care of the pooch.

The business is legitimate no matter how hard these people try to change that. They can’t. Have a good day.
