Speeding and reckless driving on Sisson Ave between Capitol and Park St. This happens especially at night and on weekends. I suspect there is also drunk driving going on. I have seen at least two instances of parked cars hit, with the driver leaving the scene of the accident. Can we please get police to patrol this area more often for speeding and reckless driving?

Do you know if the City has considered permanent solutions to stop speeding, like striping or traffic calming, in addition to short-term measures like enforcement?

Early this afternoon an out-of-control Acura crashed into (and destroyed) a fire hydrant at the corner of Putnam and Russ-- right in front of Burns elementary school. They've towed away the car but a big puddle of motor oil remains in the gutter as of 1:50 PM.
