The Jersey Shore Hurricane News group on Facebook has put out the word for you, so hopefully someone is able to come over and get you out. I've shared the news on my own Facebook account as well, as I have friends who live not far from Hamburg, over in the Newton area.

i just wrote that we are in Fla now but my husband was a 25 yr veteran with the Pt Pleasant Fire Co.. If you call the local fire dept they will get you out

I just got a call from a gentlemen with a plow who is heading over to help as well!

Joe, let me know if these two are still in need if help. I'm about 10 min away and can go over with my two boys (grown boys) and dog them out. Also have 80 lb bag of salt in my trunk.

No problem, I saw this through the weather facebook page then signed up for Snowcrew. I'm local to these residents if they need help again or if anyone else needs
help by me I'll be there. Lea took some pictures and someone else also helped with a plow to clear driveway.

I apologize; I honestly thought I'd posted here hours ago, but I must have messed it up somehow since I don't see my post here. So here it is again:

I can't possibly thank all who came to help me enough. I'm so honestly amazed by the quick response to my request for help, and everyone who came was so kind and eager to help, and not just with the shoveling. I had stepped outside to say thanks for the amazing help with the shoveling and I mentioned that I needed to get firewood from the woodpile, and before I knew it the cart next to my house was full. I'm blown away; I have never received help like this from strangers before, and I'm honoured to now call them my neighbors. So my deepest and heartfelt thanks goes out to all of you who posted here, and to Joseph for organizing this effort and keeping me updated on everything all afternoon, and a special thanks to Ron, Keith and Lea for digging me out and keeping me warm. You've all proved just how much you care about your neighbors, and I am so grateful to you.

Oh, and thanks to Joseph Porcelli, the volunteer organizer for Snow crew.org for inviting me to participate in an interview with News12 NJ, who came to my home to do a promotional segment for the news which is scheduled to air tonight at 10pm. I'm so happy that Kevin and Lea were able to come back for this interview.

Thank you so much, Keith and Joseph, for your reminders of help after the next snowstorm. I can't tell you how much we appreciate all your efforts and help. I was able to go to a doctor's appointment today thanks to all of your hard work. :)
