Q. Please provide detail of your Curbside Recycling Collection inquiry.
A. When I arrived home around 12.20pm today I found recycling on the pavement around my blue recycling bin as shown in the attached picture. The blue recycling bin was empty, it was full when I left the house earlier this morning and I assume the recycling had been collected as usual. The items on the pavement are not from my recycling. As I did not witness what happened I can not say these came from the recycling truck. However this does seem the likely explanation. My reason for saying this is because I was watching a collection by the recycling truck in January this year and as the truck pulled away from my house a glass bottle fell from the truck and smashed on the pavement. Given the broken glass was a hazard to the young children in my street I went out and cleared up the broken glass. I do not know if we are on a green or blue week collection.
