Description

The area of the downtown expressway where Boulevard feeds into it headed east is incredibly dangerous. Within a span of less than a quarter mile, 6 different lanes become 2. It is so incredibly dangerous for those who are attempting to merge from the north on Boulevard to head east on the downtown expressway to simultaneously merge over two lanes (because the first lane they can merge onto is the end of the merger lane from Powhite) while also avoiding the merging traffic from Powhite. Please, please extend these merger lanes a safe distance. There is no way this could have been approved by a traffic study.
