Several manholes appear to be ready to cave in near Ardent St. Why are we permitting 50 to 100 trucks a day on Homestead Ave between Westfield Rd. and Cherry St. which is a neighborhood street owned by Holyoke, not he State. Whenever the State Police, Holyoke Police or DOT are in the area the trucks stop. WHY? Is it because they are illegally avoiding the tolls in Westfield. They sure are not local deliveries. Our old Mayor ignored. too busy campaigning and chasing young people at UMass. How about a little help from out new Mayor please? NO Nights or weekends like the other end of Homestead please?

I will notify the sewer dept about the manholes near Arden St. Unfortunately DPW cannot enforce the law, or determine which roads allow what vehicles to operate on them. Please contact your city councilor, and or the Police Dept.

I have contacted the above also JB Hunt Hatfield who hung up on me and I was polite and just requested they not use our neighborhood nights and Weekends. They are avoiding tolls at Westfield and appeard they CB everyone how they can do this. Homestead from Cherry St to Westfield Rd and now Westfield road get torn up from all these trucks.

I ask that you have your team take pictures of the damage prior to the repair please.

It has it has not been done. At least fix near Ardent. Pavement coming up. You came and patched 50 feet from there. Why not do all from Westfield Rd to Cherry St?
