If residents obeyed the parking ban we wouldn't have this problem. There is no parking allowed on the side of the park even though everyone does it anyway-

@guest: are you saying there is not parking allowed due to a ban? If that is the case I have received no robo-calls from the city since DeStefano left office. How else would we know this? If you are making a blanket statement that no parking is allowed, you are mistaken. The city removed the "No Parking" signs in the spring to accommodate the new restaurants and Lyric Hall's need for more parking. Just clarifying.

WVRA maintenance team cleared the storm drain in front of Manjares this morning so the intersection drains (it's draining much of Fountain Street, too). If DPW does come by this week, PLEASE do not plow the storm drain in again. Thank you!

what about upper west rock? the even side of the street has not been plowed from the last storm. the new ban is on the odd side of the street but that us clean. Will they do the even side?

We too would prefer neighbors to comply with parking bans, however it is unfeasible for us to ticket and tow all vehicles in violation due to limitations in staff, enforcement vehicles, tow trucks, and vehicle storage space. As a result we do our best to tow as many cars which are parked on posted snow emergency routes or areas that DPW plow teams are able to clear once we've removed the vehicles.
