Description
Speed table is no longer well marked with paint - and the signs aren't reflective...causing many people who speed very fast down the street to hit it and nearly lose control...including yesterday (2121/02/25), a MAJOR accident from a speeding car going airborne and causing damage to 3 properties (report available from Sarasota Sheriff). This speed table needs to be repainted and better reflective signage installed before someone gets killed. A second speed table close to the Bougainvillea @ Lime Street intersection would also help reduce the near constant speeding (60+ mph) of cut-through traffic.

Unbelievable! Reported this Feb 26th immediately after a MAJOR accident. Since then, the ticket's twice been closed without any action. Add in despite multiple calls into the Contact Center, which I was promised a call back and then after that never happened, voice mails left for both Justin Thomas (941) 861-0740 and Melissa Waden (941) 861-0925 - NO calls were returned, and still nothing done to correct the issues and the ticket just gets closed - again.
People almost DIED...and the response is No One Cares. Just Wow! Perhaps it's just time to call the News and papers to get the public eyes on this.
