Description

In the neighborhood of Pasadena Lakes, along NW 24th Court, there is a part of the street that extends almost a full mile without any stop signs. Residents speed through this part of the neighborhood to avoid the signs on Pasadena Blvd and are a danger to those who reside in this part of the neighborhood. We have children who play in this area and although we display orange cones as well as a strong presence of adults while the kids are playing, residents continue to speed past. I have stopped one particular resident, whom I know to have been stopped in the past by others, to kindly ask that she slow down but am only met with profanity and her speeding away. This issue should be addressed due to safety concerns and speeding through an otherwise quiet neighborhood.
