Description
Sidewalk is a trip hazard because the sidewalk area closest to apartment is higher than the rest of the sidewalk. I fell and scrapped my hands and knees walking here.

When the Cambridgeport streets were redone, this was the solution that the State and City came up with in order for the City sidewalks to be ADA compliant, and have acceptable slopes in order to transition down to the street levels (that themselves were constrained by drainage issues). So the configuration was by design, and not a defect per se. Also, the plates at the bottoms of the ramp on the Sidney Street side has failed, and needs replacement, as does the zebra striping for the crosswalk.
Perhaps replacing the ramp concrete with a colored concrete might provide a visual warning and safer transition?
