  I agree and i suggested that a couple of weeks ago but someone apparently didnt like my idea and blocked that and just blocked my comment to your post! I dont know what their issue is.....

  Public Works' staff did not block any comments here. We have followed up with See Click Fix to determine what was flagged, why it was blocked and to re-post it.

  To moderate the platform and keep the dialogue civil, See Click Fix has alerted us that they have automatic filters for things like profanity or words like "idiotic" which they feel don't usually lead to constructive dialogue. Unfortunately, we don't know what was said in this case or why that triggered an automatic flag from SCF, but will post an update once we hear back.

  Thanks for the feedback. While we wait for the snow to clear and the ground to unfreeze, staff will be out this week placing high visibility flags on lane allocation signage currently in place in hopes to better alert road users to the sign showing there are only two lanes, a left turn lane and a thru/right turn lane. Once the ground is thawed, we will plan to place another lane allocation sign closer to the intersection. The currently faded lane markings will be repainted as soon as weather permits. Additionally, this location is slated to have a protected bike lane. The infrastructure for this protection will be installed weather permitting as well, likely early May.

  Please add something temporary this week as the weather is warm now (planters, flags, or anything). This is currently a dangerous and unpredictable intersection for all modes because of the unclear lanes.

  You are receiving this message because you have previously (or perhaps just now) submitted a request on SeeClickFix. We're excited to let you know that we are now implementing a comprehensive asset management program which is a mostly "behind the scenes" effort. This will enable more efficient, more effective and more fiscally sound infrastructure management. Nothing changes for you and we'll continue to use SeeClickFix, but we have had to automate a process to connect our open SCF requests with our asset management program. There may be the occasional bug to work out, but rest assured that your issue is still in queue and assigned to the right City staffer.
