I will take a photo later this afternoon and re-post it. problem is that it is right on the EL/LAN border and they generally ignore this area of town.

I've recently driven this section of roadway and can confirm the accuracy of the original report/ complaint. The bad pavement continues in the southbound lane for much of Collins down to the traffic signal at Dunkel. Driving in the center turn lane area is the only way to avoid potential wheel/ suspension damage.

I think it is a little too early to close this issue. The issue is not closed until the road is fixed. And so far, the last time I checked was this morning, the road is still a continuous crater field.

Around 3 feet long, wider than a car tire and more than 4 inches deep.

Look at this beauty! 3 feet long, almost 2 car tires wide and probably half a foot deep!

More potholes. Around the same dimensions as the previously posted ones...

The three pictures are just a "best of" potholes between the Harrison-Forest and Forest-Collins intersection. There are plenty of other potholes and deep, wide cracks in both directions from there. But my job is not to take pictures of potholes all day. If it were I would properly measure and document all potholes. It would probably take a week or so to get all the potholes.
I wonder what the president of the United States of America thought when his car had to use this road... (He traveled on this road for his recent visit.)

Rec'd this response from my contact at the City of Lansing today: The City of Lansing has jurisdiction of Forest west of Harrison and all of Collins. I have forwarded these issues to our Operations and Maintenance Division.
