This ticket has been open for 3 weeks, has 25 votes—yet the only response I see from the City of Oakland is a standard auto-reply. The derelict campers still stretch from 11th and Pine down to 8th and Pine. Has any effort by the City been made to remove the encampment from Pine Street?

Yes, this is awful that residents of West Oakland are put in this position in the first place! We pay rent, mortgages, taxes- and our neighborhood is allowed to sliding in to a slum- its disgusting and need to be addressed!

I’m so sick of these folks feeling the have free reign to do whatever they want and to just trash the area. Take a look at Mandela between 14th and 16th. That whole lot is trashed. How that business has allowed them to camp there.

Please remove all this stuff and clean up our streets.
