Description

PLEASE When will something be done about this off ramp pot holes. They haven't been filled since last summer. You have to practically come to a stop to get through them and if you have to stop at the light your car is thrown out into oncoming traffic from the left. Something really has to be done. I travel this road every morning to work. If a drove a truck it wouldn't be as bad. But I drive a VW. I have to creep over the potholes so that my car is not damaged.

I wish I could close this one...but this should at least be on a maintenance list for attention every week or so.

The uneven road signs keep being laid down.
Can there be more consistent monitoring of this area? It is very dangerous because of the fact that when you stop in the pot holes the car is projected into oncoming traffic from the left. Thank you

All signage warning about the uneven, slippery surfaces and pooling water have been removed. Classes at SBCC starting on 8/25.

I have to leave this open even though it seems that no one reads this. The intersection continues in its usual unmaintained status. At least this week the one sign is not laying down that warns motorists of the slippery pavement. Can't the holes be filled? Heading from the harbor up Castillo under the overpass the pot holes are very deep.

I agree, this intersection / underpass is notorious. If I recall, this one issue held up the city's acquisition of Cliff Drive, as it was part of the state route -- I think the state agreed to keep responsibility for maintaining this underpass. (I'm only going on my recollection from published articles.)

I don't know what more to say...it's horrible! Now there are no lines for lanes. Cars are dodging pot holes and uneven pavement...so dangerous.

This has been on here for a year now. And getting worse every month. CalTrans had the off ramp shut down for three nights recently, but no repairs to the road. No maintenance at all. It will probably take someone being injured or worse on a bike or in a car before this dangerous area is looked at. What a shame in "paradise".

I'm glad to see a little maintenance going on even though it is now so bumpy going through this underpass that it causes much wear and tear on our vehicles. I guess I can find a work around route to work and not go through the Castillo underpass. It would take longer to get to work, but it would sure be less irritating and damaging to my car.

Some lane striping would be safer. Especially the bike lanes and pedestrian crossings. And now these big uneven spots that damage cars.
