This is a general concern for all of downtown New Haven. While I appreciate the efforts to remove the large piles of snow around the city and open all lanes of traffic, it is also important for the city to deploy people to open up the crosswalks after the plows come through. On my morning walk down Crown street from Orange to York, the only crosswalks fully open are those by the Yale campus building. Please consider sending people out to clear the crosswalks as this is a very pedestrian city and the piles of snow left after the plows pass are very hard to navigate over safely.
