let the yale shuttle partrons/students walk...its good for them (like we used to do in every kind of weather. when we were young....going to school was always fun in my day and we NEVER had snow day *offs*...;pooh,pooh!!!!!

Dear amsterdammer ... many of us do walk to campus every day instead of taking the shuttles. HOWEVER, since the sidewalks were dangerously icy today (and this month in general) we have had little choice but to take a shuttle in order to be safe. Your comment is really very unnecessary, and a tad annoying.

The city has completely dropped the ball on the issue. They have maintained the parking ban for 5 days, but have mss no effort to communicate to residents any attempt to adjust to the fact that many neighborhoods were not cleared as promised on trash day. We are all in the dark, and there is complete silence from the administration.Bad organization, bad communication, bad strategy. First test of Mayor Harp's administration is a resounding failure. I am sure.that some progress has been made, but because there are no updates or adjustments, no one knows. Communication is key. It is also free, and easy, so no excuse here.

Orange from Clark to Humphrey St was never plowed, we followed the parking ban each of many times we were told not to park on the odd side. I am incredible disappointed with how the city mandes the snow storms.
