Description

Just before Willow Road on Lochaven Rd, the road is all tore up.... please please fix this.... anyone could get seriously hurt, you have to drive half way in on coming traffic just to drive to Willow road..

Road Commission (Guest)

This section of road is an area of about 300 feet that has been deteriorating. We have patched this area numerous times and will continue when needed. We have added this area to our list for base repair. However, we can't guarantee it will get done this year due tothe fact that we have lots of areas like this and worse.

I was reading this post and was thinking it was current. The date it was opened was 04/14/2011. The "Road Commission" claims they could not guarantee it would be repaired in 2011. It is now 2014! I drive down this road every day to work. They have not repaired the road and it is worse than ever. What really cracks me up though is they changed the speed limit from 35 to 45 MPH. Maybe they think if you drive real fast you will not feel the bumps? Seriously thou this is a very dangerous spot. Drivers straddle the center line to avoid the deterioration. One day someone will get killed in an accident and then maybe they will give us a firm repair date?
