Description

Can someone please get the Township Committee to enact an ordinance requiring these god awful electioneers to abide by a buffer zone off municipal property, including the train station. Its annoying to have to wade through these people every year and frankly, municipal property is not to be used for partisan electioneering. Not to mention they leave theire signs there, thereby giving the impression that the Town has placed its imprimatur on one candidate or another. In a town which refuses to fly the U.S. flag daily at Town Hall and no longer puts up any secular "holiday" displays, you'd think that this issue would have been addressed. You wouldnt allow electioneering at Town Hall, why do you allow it at the Train Station, both of which are municipal owned property.
