Description

The traffic light located at Elm St. & Ferry St. no longer rotates to the pedestrian crossing signal. Pedestrians are pushing the buttons to request for pedestrian crossing, but the light only rotates through the driving green light signals. There is no longer a safe method for pedestrians to cross in a protected manner in this busy intersection right outside of a school and public park.
