Vehicles idling in front of Westwood Elementary School waiting to pick-up their children after school. By-the-way, there are NO PARKING signs along this stretch...why are YOU still parked ! Maybe the parents should go back to school, so they can learn to read !

Hi, thanks for reporting this location. PGAIR has taken note of this location as a possible hotspot, and we are continuing to gather data on idling hotspots around the City.
You may be interested to note that the Hub for Action on School Transportation Emissions (HASTE) has idle free zone signs available for FREE to BC schools. The school district and individual schools have been notified of this resource and have been encouraged to order signs through the HASTE website (hastebc.org). If you are a parent at this school, I would encourage you to discuss this with your principal.
