The city needs to consider this a new revenue issue. If they start ticketing in zone parking areas, they will bring in a lot more money, which is what the tickteing is about in the first place. Until they realize that, they will only concentrate on ticketing downtown.

Thanks for the post. Our resources are spread thin due to snow removal concerns, however this vehicle was ticketed yesterday.

Why would quality of life be an issue to address?? Ask for refund of your permit fee.

Follow up; an officer was dispatched to the area today and made two passes, neither time was this vehicle present. A number of other non-permit holders were found in violation in zone 7 and ticketed accordingly.

We were happy to see that an officer was ticketing. Still, enforcement needs to be carried out on a regular basis. If it were done even once a week, on different days and at different times, we would eliminate the problem.

There is another parking ban going into effect on Sunday, and there will not be enough room for permit holders to park on one side of the street. How about ticketing cars with no permits right BEFORE the storm on Sunday, as they move to take up spaces on the even side of the street?

The important thing is that enforcement begin to be done on a consistent basis. That would make an important improvement to our neighborhood.
