Deskripsyon

Bikes get stolen on College/Congress frequently. The reason they are out there, attached to trees or signs, is because there are not nearly enough bike racks! Especially covered ones would be nice. Many people here would like to ride their bikes to work, but just don't want to risk it.

Please consider testifying in favor of requiring both secure, covered bike parking for employees and short-term bike racks for visitors at all new developments and major renovations this Wednesday, Dec 15th, 6PM in meeting rm 2, City Hall, 165 Church St. The planning commission is currently considering requiring short-term bike racks, but are not aware of any demand for covered, secure bike parking or amenities such as showers or lockers.
