Thank you for reporting this concern. The city sent personnel down to recover the buoy for repair and re-placing, but could not find it. I emailed the reporter, Ms OReilly, to see if she has further details on its whereabouts..
Ms OReilly just clarified to me that she doesn't have a recovered buoy, that she was reporting that several were missing (since Eta) and wanted us to know and to replace. I let her know we appreciated the heads-up and are awaiting barge availability combined w/ wind-free weather so that we can re-place ~5 buoys that we have lost in the past 12 months - which is actually an incredibly low number - historically we've lost many more - Chad improved the hardware connecting the buoys to the tether and the tether to the concrete base and ~95% of our buoys stayed in place - good work!
