GET WITH IT MAYOR HARP!!!! You are failing.

Unfortunately those in charge take no pride in this city or their work. And then they act shocked when they hear how people from outside the city don't like coming here. All that is wrong is made worst at night, due very poor lighting and a lack of a police presents. Not to mention shootings, muggings, and street fights. Mountains of dirty ice just add to the appearance.

When I parked on Orange St. recently, there was no way I could reach the parking meter except by walking all the way to the end of the street at Crown where the corner was partially clear of snow. It would be a good thing if the city or the business owners shoveled out a path every now and then for people to walk through to the meters.

And this is the heart and FACE of the city. Are you kidding. It's a disgrace.

What ? You mean there was downtown parking ban for like 2 weeks, not to mention every snowstorm. Oh yeah, it wasn't enforced !!

The city obviously just doesn't care. I mean, how is that pretty much every other town in the state (I drive for work, so I can somewhat verify) has managed to clear the snow from their roads and sidewalks, but New Haven stands their scratching their head like they've never seen snow before. Just horrible leadership and horrible execution all around.

I wish the city would respond to these posts. Let us not forget about all of this in the 2015 election.

I wish our city's workers would spend less time in their offices dinking around on SeeClickFix and Facebook, and more time on the streets actually TAKING CARE OF THE PROBLEMS. But I guess attaching an "Acknowledged" sticker to someone's complaint is easier than going outside and fixing it. Yes indeed, this winter will not be forgotten next election season!

You have to worry about how bad the next two years will be. I don't know about you but I am thinking of moving.

Mother nature did what the city couldn't. Although it is snowing again today!
