In discussing another issue with the county last month they mentioned the pump at the end of our property that pumps this water to the retention pond at the end of the road had been turned off Can it please be turned back on?

The ditch has retained water ever since there was a storm drain project a couple of years ago and when I filed the precious ticket for the issue I was told it was a retention ditch and the water wasn't supposed to drain but they didn't mention they were no longer pumping water out of the ditch which explains why it wasn't an issue in all the years prior

Can someone please call me to confirm the pump can be turned on or discuss why it was turned off as it has continued to cause issues for us each year Thanks!
