Description

The sidewalk parking and parking contrary to posted signs is a legitimate issue The complaint of speeding cars is unfounded The traffic study showed well over 85% compliance. The few over the limit were within the actual 30mph legal limit or over by only a few mph
There were a grand total of two completely unreasonable speeds recorded Those have not been cross checked against public safety records as these may have been police or ambulances responding to emergencies on Valley St Just because you don't hear a siren doesn't mean it isn't public safety vehicles you heard
Well over 95% are operating reasonably
We have one or two in the neighborhood with nothing better to do than complain about everything This is a reality. These few complainers are resulting in the city planning to make Valley St look like Wilson St with bike lanes (to narrow the road hoping it slows people down) adding giant speed bumps, adding large flexible posts everywhere
It's going to look like Roxbury or Somerville with all the paint and traffic crap that isn't needed

To the city; please ignore these few constant complainers The vast majority of us in Ward 4 like our neighborhood just the way it is Please stop trying to fix problems that don't really exist
