Firstly I agree with the post in relation to the open drug dealing however what does the fact that the operators of the little grocery store being 'Middle Easterners" have to do with the issue at hand...really? I detect a hint of PREJUDICE and that to me is an issue as well...I am an African American Muslim. I live in the community I own my home without a mortgage I pay my taxes I keep my property clean and I don't bother anyone ...I have children that have to grow up here and deal with the drug dealers the prejudice people and the everything in between ..and my point is this...If everyone played a positive role in bettering this community for all its inhabitants we would all benefit greatly.

The U.D. Police have finally started manning the mini station, but only during the day from 9AM to 4PM. Doesn't make the neighborhood any safer after 4 o'clock. With the amount of cops U.D. has the place should be manned well into the night, if not 24-7.

from what I have seen with drug deals they go on all day and all night, but most are at night time, so to have the mini station in operation all the time would be a better idea.

I described it as a store run by middle Easterners because they are Middle Eastern. That's it. No other reason than it's a valid description. You're looking for racism where there is none. I never said they were helping the dealers, but they, along with the proprietors of the Chinese Take Out (is that anti Asian?) along with the proprietors of D & C Steaks are part of the problem because they don't call 911 whenever there is loitering in front of their business establishments.

I NEVER SAID THE FACT THEY WERE MIDDLE EASTERNERS HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE DRUG DEALERS!!! It is a store owned, and operated by people of Middle Eastern descent. Therefore it is a drug store run by Middle Easterners. That is a valid description. Nothing else. No one said anything bad about Middle Easterners, or Muslims in general. If you agree that the drug dealing is a problem then fine. My complaint is about the dealers. Not the store owners. If they were Irish immigrants then I would've said the Irish grocery store, but they weren't Irish, they were Middle Eastern, so that's what I said, FOOL!

I keep getting notices from this website to please "close this Issue", but als, I fear that will never happen because as anyone with observational skills all ready knows, once a neighborhood goes in the direction Stonehurst has, it never really goes back.

It's stopped during the day as far as I can tell, especially since Lennon's Car got robbed last summer, but there's such a bunch of lowlife ghetto scumbags living in that area now, I'm sure it's still happeningafter they close the mini pokice station at 4 PM. That station should be manned 24-7. It's not like Upper Darby Police Dept. doesn't have the man power.
