Yes, the light has been made to turn green for only as long as needed (using cameras) so that the busy 15 mile road does not stop unless needed. The problem is that cars either don't turn fast enough to let all traffic through, or that cars try to squeeze too many through during busy times, such as in the morning going to Fraser HS or Richards MS. It is longer during these times, but there have also been accidents more than once during the school year. I don't think the county is going to make any big changes with this light, so drivers will have to learn the quirks of it to prevent more accidents.
