following the provisions of Chapter 40U of the Massachusetts General Laws regarding housing code violations, the Town must notify a property owner of a violation and allow two weeks to resolve the issue. If, at the end of two weeks, the owner is still in violation, daily fines are assessed. Unpaid fines are placed as a lien on the property. Regardless of these procedures, there is no guarantee that the homeowner will comply and the Town may not enter onto private property to maintain it.

Over the last several weeks, the Code Enforcement Team (made up of Building, Fire, Police and Health Departments) have made site visits. Re-inspections are scheduled to take place, followed by court proceedings.
As stated above, following the provisions of Chapter 40U of the Massachusetts General Laws regarding housing code violations, the Town must notify a property owner of a violation and allow two weeks to resolve the issue. If, at the end of two weeks, the owner is still in violation, daily fines are assessed. Unpaid fines are placed as a lien on the property. Code Enforcement has issued fines on this property.
Regardless of these procedures, there is no guarantee that the homeowner will comply and the Town may not enter onto private property to maintain it.

The code enforcement task force met at this property last week with the owner. At this point, fines for non compliance have been issued. The owner has until June 16 to have the property cleaned up to our agreed upon condition.
The owner has been notified and we will be in court on the 17th if the property is not cleaned up as promised. Thank you for your patience.

a disgrace!!!!! The only way to get rid of rats would be to rid of those animals..
We live nearby and more then once have found dead rats.. I cant believe that other close neighbors don't report the problem

At 10:15 am.they put pigeons and chickens back out outside and truck with junk back in the driveway..
We assume the officers were here earlier and left..
Still will have problem in the future with rats..We as abutters need these animals gone

As long as they are attracting rats..
Does Randolph allow them without a permit as stated online and certainly not with written approval as an abutter..
This will certainly be followed by us and will be reported for the 3rd time if needed..
Thank you for your cooperation in some of the work this neighbor had done
